Welcome to this week’s Premier Business Operations newsletter…

Hard to believe that January is more than halfway over…  where has the time gone?  Before I get into this week’s newsletter, I just wanted to remind readers that previous editions can be found online at https://premierbusinessoperations.wordpress.com/ or alternatively by going to the Premier Business Operations website:  www.premier-business-operations.com.   I also wanted to thank everyone that has gone to our Facebook page and “liked” our page and business.

You may recall from previous emails, the basis of any sound marketing strategy revolves around the 4Ps of product marketing:  product, price, placement and promotion.  Rather have a boring lecture to read, I came across a great video titled Timothy and the 4Ps” that adds a little humor to this topic…  hope you enjoy it.

While this video made light of the topic, having an understanding of the 4Ps is critical toward building a successful business, no matter the industry, market or how good a product you have – marketing drives sales and sales drive revenue.  Equally important and often overlooked is that each P must work in harmony with the others.

So reflecting on your company’s performance last year, did you meet your revenue goals?  If not, it may be a good time to review your marketing strategy.  During the current economic climate with dollars being precious for many business owners, wasting money on a poor strategy is no better that putting the money into your shredder.
